What we collect

We may collect your name, email address, account details, assessment activity, payment status, messages you send to us, and basic technical information such as device, browser and website usage data.

How we use it

We use this information to create and manage accounts, provide access to assessment content, process subscriptions, respond to enquiries, maintain website security, improve our service and meet legal or business record-keeping requirements.

Who we share it with

We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help operate the website, such as hosting, authentication, email, analytics, error monitoring and payment providers. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the reason it was collected. As a guide:

• Account details — while your account is active, plus up to 12 months after closure.
• Assessment records — while your account is active, plus up to 12 months after closure.
• Payment records — 7 years, to meet financial and legal obligations.
• Support messages — up to 2 years.
• Technical logs — up to 90 days.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Your rights below). We may keep limited records for as long as required by law even after deletion.

Employer and learner data

Where an employer (organisation) subscribes on behalf of their staff, both the employer and the individual learner have a relationship with this service.

• Learners can see their own assessment results and progress.
• Employer administrators can see the assessment results and progress of the people they have added to their account.
• Employer administrators cannot access learners' passwords, payment details or personal messages.
• Learners' records belong to the individual. If a learner's employer account is closed, the learner's account and results remain.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal information, including the right to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your data is handled.
